We are excited to announce the Kenninghall School Sponsored February Fun Run 2023. The goal is for all our children to walk or run 1km a day for the 28 days of February. This is to encourage everyone to stay active while raising money towards the annual, all school Bewilderwood trip in the Summer term. The tickets alone are £1,000 and we are hoping we can raise at least this amount to help fund this all inclusive activity.
One kilometre equates to approx 1,500 steps for a primary school child. The children of Goshawks and Eagles already have their Garmin fitness trackers to help them track their daily progress and meet this goal. We will be providing wrist pedometers to all the children in Otters and Swallowtails so they can do the same.
We hope all parents/carers, extended family and supporters in our wider community will help us achieve this fundraising goal by sponsoring the children and donating at justgiving.com/campaign/FebFunRun2023.
