Autumn Term Thank You!

The Friends would like to thank the children, parents and staff and the wider community for the wonderful support over the past few months. There are so many things we've loved doing over this term. Our highlights have been...

A fantastically fun and very messy Halloween party to welcome the children back to school.

The second hand uniform shop has been a total success and we really hope you continue to use and support it over the school year.

Over the past month the Friends and staff have been busy building a new raised vegetable garden for the children to enjoy in the Spring. This project has been funded by the Kenninghall Lands Trust and we cannot thank them enough for their financial support and expertise with this worthwhile endeavour.

More local support from the Kenninghall Parish Council and the Village Hall committee, Crown Chicken Ltd and the Gooderham family meant the whole community got to enjoy a very wet but wonderfully free Kenninghall Village fireworks where we raised enough money from the refreshments to fully fund the whole school to see Robin Hood at the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds for their first proper Christmas panto since COVID!

Speaking of Christmas, we were overwhelmed by the support of our Christmas Wreath making workshops with our star florist Laura Martin. We absolutely loved hosting them here at the school and the money raised will pay for the children's field trips and treats over the Spring term. Finally we finished the term with the Christmas Disco which was such a blast with the highlight being the now annual Macarena masterclass from Mr Ambrose and Mr Butcher.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and can't wait for the New Year with lots more events, parties and trips to look forward to!
