Finances for academic year 2024/2025 (October to October)
Prepared by Carrie Spencer as Treasurer
Opening balance as of 16th October 2024 was £4,827.13
Total income for the year 2024/2025 was £10,498.14
Total for the year £15,325.27
Total outgoing for the year 2024/2025 was £11,433.11

Starting balance for academic year 2025/2026 (October to October) is £3,892.16
We have seen about a £200 increase in costs for both the Bewilderwood and Panto trip, without the costs of the coaches included in this.
This year we gave each classroom money to put towards essential classroom supplies. Some teachers chose to put that money towards field trips, other used the monies to purchase classroom equipment.
Because of the increase in costs, we voted last year to increase the budget to £600 per
classroom.
We supplied Christmas crackers for the school Christmas dinner, easter eggs for the spring trail hunt, leavers bags, hoodies and end of year celebration and a forest school trolley to name a few items the funds raised have gone towards.

CH advised that a copy of the Constitution and our code of conduct had been sent to all
members of the committee prior to the meeting, and copies were also present at the meeting for those wishing to reread.

Meeting Minutes.

Colour Run
The colour run raised £1105.98 which is fantastic, especially as it is our first one. The children
and adults alike absolutely loved it and the children are already requesting we do another one.

Disco’s
The Halloween Disco is set for Monday 20th October from 3.15 to 4.45 priced at £3.50 a ticket.
The Christmas Disco is currently scheduled for Thursday 18th December however this is subject
to change. It was agreed that due to the additional timing (3.15 to 5.30) and the increase of our
supply costs, tickets will be increased this year to £4.50 per child.
This year we are trailing body stamps at the Halloween disco, as they can be reused and are
quicker to apply saving on queue times. If they work, we will use for the Christmas Disco too.

Bake Sales
It was decided unanimously to increase the costs of bakes to £1 per item. This is due to the
increased costs to make donations.
Valentines Bake Sale to be held on Friday 13th February 2026
Easter Bake Sale/Spring Trail to be held on Friday 27th March 2026

Wreath Making / Children’s Centrepiece Workshops
Wreath making to be held in the cabin again this year, on 27th/28th November. Agreed to keep
price at £40 per wreath.
Awaiting confirmation from Flowers by Laura that she can attend.
Childrens workshops to be held after school with proposed dates of 11th and 12th December.
EYFS and KS1 children must have a parent or carer present if their child is doing these. Agreed to
increase to £10 per child.
Agreed to do a raffle again this year, and decided to do Christmas Hampers as the prizes.
Tickets can be pre-sold.

Tea Towels & Tote Bags.

The school have agreed to get the children to draw self portraits so we can have tea towels and
tote bags made, instead of doing Christmas cards this year.
To be pre-ordered on the website. Agreed to sell tea towel at £4 each and tote bags at £6 each.
